Our Story
Born and Raised in Maryland.
Solid Insurance Solutions was founded in 2015 by lifelong Marylander Jose Sorto-Ulloa, who spent years watching neighbors get burned by out-of-state call centers that sold them the wrong coverage at the wrong price. He opened our Berwyn Heights office with one goal: be the agency he wished existed.
We started with auto and home policies for Maryland families. Over time, word spread. Clients referred their parents, their kids, their business partners. Today we serve thousands of Maryland households and businesses — but our approach hasn't changed. Every client gets a real agent, real answers, and coverage that actually fits their life.
